Bodybuilder Shawn Rhoden has lost his eligibility for the 2019 Mr. Olympia contest one day after he was charged with raping a fellow woman bodybuilder who considered him as a mentor in a Utah hotel room.
Rhoden additionally nicknamed Shawn”Flexatron Rhoden, as of now holds the title of Mr. Olympia, and was granted every year in a universal weight training rivalry associated with the IFBB Pro League.
Rhoden, 44, was charged on Thursday in third District Court with assault, object assault and persuasive sexual maltreatment. The American Media LLC Chairman CEO David J. Pecker responded to this and declared in an announcement made Friday that he is renouncing the qualification of 2018 Mr.Olympia Shawn rhoden in the challenge this year and in future years. Rhoden had won the title of Mr. Olympia in 2018.
American Media further announced that it would “suspend coverage” of Rhoden in its media brands, including “Muscle & Fitness” and “Flex” magazines until the case has been resolved.
